The easiest way to get to the park is from I-95.
From I-95 South: EXIT 3 MARSH RD. Take a left at the exit onto MARSH RD. Stay on MARSH RD. until the second intersection, which is WASHINGTON ST. EXTENSION. Take a right onto WASHINGTON ST. EXTENSION. Follow the new traffic pattern. You will emerge from the traffic funnel right at the entrance to the park. Take a right turn into the park. Follow the drive up to the parking at the top of the hill.
From I-95 North: EXIT 3 MARSH RD. Take a left at the exit towards MARSH RD. Stay to the right. Take a right onto MARSH RD. Stay on MARSH RD. until the first intersection, which is WASHINGTON ST. EXTENSION. Take a right onto WASHINGTON ST. EXTENSION. Follow the new traffic pattern. You will emerge from the traffic funnel right at the entrance to the park. Take a right turn into the park. Follow the drive up to the parking at the top of the hill.
From Rt. 202: Take 202 SOUTH to the I-95 interchange. Go I-95 NORTH towards Philadelphia. You will be traveling one exit to EXIT 3 MARSH RD. Take a left at the exit towards MARSH RD. Stay to the right. Take a right onto MARSH RD. Stay on MARSH RD. until the first intersection, which is WASHINGTON ST. EXTENSION. Take a right onto WASHINGTON ST. EXTENSION. Follow the new traffic pattern. You will emerge from the traffic funnel right at the entrance to the park. Take a right turn into the park. Follow the drive up to the parking at the top of the hill.
From downtown Wilmington: Take RT 52 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUEnorth to the I-95 Interchange. Go I-95 NORTH towards Philadelphia. You will be traveling one exit to EXIT 3 MARSH RD. From North Wilmington: Take MARSH RDto WASHINGTON ST. EXTENSION. Take a right onto WASHINGTON ST. EXTENSION. Follow the new traffic pattern. You will emerge from the traffic funnel right at the entrance to the park. Take a right turn into the park. Follow the drive up to the parking at the top of the hill.
From I-495 North or South: Take EXIT 9 EDGEMORE RD. Follow EDGEMORE RD to MARKET ST/RT 13/PHILADELPHIA PIKE. Take a RIGHT onto MARKET ST/RT 13/PHILADELPHIA PIKE. Stay to your left. Follow MARKET ST/RT 13/PHILADELPHIA PIKE to the WASHINGTON ST. EXTENSION intersection. (There will be a State Police station to your left and St. Helena’s Church to your right.) Take a left onto WASHINGTON ST EXTENSION. Follow the new traffic pattern. You will emerge from the traffic funnel right at the entrance to the park. Take a right turn into the park. Follow the drive up to the parking at the top of the hill.
